BATON ROUGE, La. – Former LSU safety Brandon Taylor’s playing career might be over, but he apparently he isn’t done with football yet. The offers to embark on a professional coaching career have been plentiful.
Taylor, a third-round pick of the San Diego Chargers in the 2012 draft, played in only four games as a rookie before injuries the next season ended his career. That winter, he returned to LSU to complete his degree and has been working for an industrial contractor since graduating. That hasn’t stopped coaches from trying to lure Taylor into the profession.
Taylor admits he has been approached about joining his alma mater as a graduate assistant.
