Ex-Browns GM: Johnny Manziel came into NFL with a 'Rolling Stone magazine type of persona'

One of Johnny Manziel's former bosses is saying that the level of celebrity the former Heisman-winning quarterback from Texas A&M came into the NFL with contributed to his troubles adjusting to his new life.

Former Browns general manager Ray Farmer, who was fired by the team in January, was on ESPN's NFL Insiders on Monday and discussed what he saw of Manziel in Cleveland.

"This player had unique celebrity that I don't think the league has seen in a lot of different players," Farmer said.
