Eight Texas A&M rookies make NFL rosters

This weekend was the deadline for NFL teams to cut their rosters down to the final 53 players they will take into the regular season, and after the dust settles, eight first-year players from Texas A&M made the cut. These eight players gives the Aggies a total of 28 players on active NFL rosters, including five Pro Bowl players from last season.

  • Safety Donovan Wilson was a sixth-round pick for the Cowboys, but had three preseason interceptions, and many say he may challenge for a starting spot by season’s end
