COLLEGE STATION -- Kellen Mond gave the massive crowd inside Kyle Field just about everything it could have asked for Saturday night.
Amid the rain and humidity and against one of the best teams in the country, the Texas A&M sophomore quarterback was one play away from potentially forcing overtime. Another pass, a couple more yards and the Aggies would have kept their hopes of an upset over No. 2 Clemson alive.
On this night, that was asking just a little too much. The Tigers survived Mond's career-best performance and picked up a 28-26 victory at Kyle Field.
