The Arizona Cardinals took former Texas A&M wide receiver Christian Kirk No. 47 overall in the 2018 NFL Draft knowing they were getting an electric player that could help them on offense and special teams.
Even though Kirk fell a little further than he likely expected, he probably couldn’t have asked for a better situation to end up in.
He goes to an organization that has been competitive for the past decade, back to his home state — he grew up in Scottsdale — and gets to learn from one of the greatest wide receivers ever and a consummate professional in Larry Fitzgerald.
