A Texas A&M offensive lineman is no longer facing charges stemming from an arrest earlier this September.
Prosecutors in Brazos County will not be pursuing cases against sophomore Ryan McCollum for felony evading arrest with a vehicle and reckless driving, which is a misdemeanor. Brazos County officials said both charges have been dropped.
McCollum was arrested on Sept. 15 on both charges and later released on a combined $7,000 bond. According to a document obtained by The News, the felony case was rejected by the Brazos County district attorney's office because of insufficient evidence to prove the case without a reasonable doubt.
