Cedar Hill alum announces transfer from Texas A&M

A former Cedar Hill standout is transferring from Texas A&M.

Junior linebacker Richard Moore will transfer out of the Aggies' program, he announced on his Twitter account on Friday night. Moore started five of the 11 games he appeared in 2016.

He tallied 29 tackles during his sophomore year, with two of them coming behind the line of scrimmage. Moore signed with the Aggies in 2015 and was a ranked a 3-stare recruit according to 247Sports' composite ranking.

Moore and defensive back Donovan Wilson alternated starts last season, depending on the opening scheme of defensive coordinator John Chavis.
