COLLEGE STATION -- As Auburn started a drive its game-winning drive last weekend against Texas A&M, the Aggies opted to roll with a different defensive look.
Sophomore cornerback Myles Jones, a back-up and former starter, had earned his spot on the field in the fourth quarter as one of the players tasked with stopping Auburn from completing an unlikely comeback. But with 1:41 left, Auburn quarterback Jarrett Stidham rendered Jones helpless when threw a pristine 11-yard touchdown pass to Seth Williams to give the Tigers a 28-24 win.
It's unclear what starting lineup A&M will use this weekend against Mississippi (5-4, 1-4 SEC).
