Can Former Oklahoma QB Trevor Knight Be the Savior That Texas A&M Needs?

After weeks of speculation, Texas A&M head coach Kevin Sumlin may have found his 2016 starting quarterback.

Former Oklahoma signal-caller Trevor Knight—the same man who toppled Alabama in the 2014 Sugar Bowl following the 2013 season—will transfer to College Station and play immediately after graduating from Oklahoma in December.

"I appreciate the opportunity Coach Sumlin and his staff have afforded me, and I look forward to making my last year of eligibility a memorable one," Knight said in a statement emailed by Texas A&M. "I am thankful to [Oklahoma] Coach [Bob] Stoops and all of the people at OU for their help and support through the years.
