Shortly after Texas A&M was knocked out of last year's NCAA men's basketball tournament, it became apparent the Aggies were going to resemble a completely different program.
With big men Tyler Davis and Robert Williams leaving College Station for the pros, A&M was on the verge of becoming a guard-oriented team, led by sophomore TJ Starks. A&M coach Billy Kennedy leaned into the transition with his player and offseason coaching acquisitions.
But as Kennedy and the Aggies have found out, wholesale philosophical changes are not easy -- especially when there's constant pressure to win.
Through the first 11 games of the season, the Aggies are the worst 3-point shooting team in the SEC.
