FORT WORTH - Baker Mayfield ticked off the attributes that he hopes NFL teams notice - from passion to fearlessness to work ethic.
"I think when it comes down to it, I have the mindset and makeup of a winner," the Oklahoma quarterback said Monday before picking up the Davey O'Brien Award. "Among all things that scouts try and look at, winning is the most important. I'm hoping people notice that one."
In addition to Mayfield, former NFL quarterback Ron Jaworski was honored with the Legends Award along with scholarship winner Mikayla Wilson of Fort Worth Trimble Tech.
