HOOVER, Ala. -- Even a few feet away from Myles Garrett, the sound of camera shutters closing overpowered the words from the Texas A&M junior defensive end.
Overpowering Garrett with anything -- either with force on the football field or in a discussion about dinosaurs -- seems to be a tough task these days. And as he shuffled in and out of rooms on Tuesday during SEC media days at an Alabama hotel, cameras and reporters were waiting for him.
They asked about his love of poetry. He rattled off facts about the spinosaurus. And Garrett talked about adjusting to a national spotlight, something the potential first-round draft pick will have to get used to throughout the season.
