A Texas A&M wide receiver who entered spring practice in contention for a starting position is facing two misdemeanor counts of indecent exposure.

According to Brazos County court records, A&M sophomore Kirk Merritt allegedly exposed himself to two different women in October 2016. Merritt, who transferred from Oregon last year and practiced with Texas A&M this spring, pleaded not guilty to both charges on March 24.

Merritt was scheduled to play in A&M's intrasquad scrimmage on Saturday at Kyle Field and practiced this spring, according to the Houston Chronicle. He is expected to be in court within the next 60 days for a status plea, according to the county court office.
