When Jimbo Fisher was named Texas A&M's new football coach last December, he immediately started looking at hiring 10 assistants to fill out his staff.
But after he completed that task, he still had some work to do.
In 2018, picking out the right assistants is only part of the hiring process. Now, that also includes getting analysts to supplement the official coaching staff.
Fisher has hired six analysts to help him out in his inaugural year, according to the coaching staff listed on A&M's website. According to 247Sports.com, Fisher had eight analysts in his final year at Florida State and seven in 2016.
