A viral post by a Twitter user that includes correspondence with a senior administrator of Texas A&M's athletic program alleges a member of the school's men's swim and dive team returned to the roster after a suspension for sexual assault.
The post, which had nearly 8,500 shares on Twitter as of Monday afternoon, is one of many from the account's owner regarding the incident. The A&M student claims the unnamed athlete was found responsible of sexual assault by the school's Title IX board and was suspended for a semester.
According to another Twitter post from the user, the athlete was then given a redshirt during the 2016-17 season.
