COLLEGE STATION, Texas -- Texas A&M quarterback Trevor Knight got the start against LSU Thursday night despite battling a shoulder injury.
Knight, who suffered a sprain in the AC joint of his throwing shoulder in a Nov. 5 loss to Mississippi State, was initially ruled out for the remainder of the regular season on Nov. 8 by coach Kevin Sumlin.
On Monday, Knight told reporters that he wanted to play but that the decision was up to doctors. Knight went through warmups and took all the snaps with the first team before the game.
