One day after he picked up an offer from Texas A&M, Friendswood Clear Brook senior wide receiver Caleb Chapman decided to pull the trigger and commit to the Aggies.
Chapman announced the decision on Twitter Saturday afternoon. The 3-star receiver also had offers from TCU, Duke, Oregon and West Virginia, according to 247Sports.com.
The 6-foot-5, 206-pound receiver was one of 22 players that were first-team all-District 24-6A selections last season.
Oral commitments are non-binding until a player enrolls at a university or signs a national letter of intent.
He reported A&M's offer on Friday, the beginning of a big weekend for the Aggies.
