NEW ORLEANS – Texas A&M athletes earned 28 first-team All-America honors as announced by the United States Track & Field Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) from their performances during the NCAA Outdoor Championships held this past weekend in Eugene, Oregon.
The Aggie women earned the most first-team honors with 15 All-Americans among nine athletes while the A&M men totaled 13 first-team honors among 11 athletes, which was equal to the third highest number of All-Americans.
Following the leading total of 15 first-team All-Americans by the Aggie women were USC (14) and Oregon (13). Florida led the men’s total of first-team All-Americans with 15, followed by Arkansas (14), Texas A&M (13) and LSU (13).
