A&M chancellor John Sharp takes not-so-subtle dig at Texas’ alcohol sales

On Wednesday, the University of Texas announced it will sell beer and wine at football games in the fall.

It didn’t take long for Texas A&M chancellor John Sharp to respond to that, via College Station sports talk show host Gabe Bock:

A&M chancellor Sharp on alcohol at events: “Our athletic program has not reached the point where we require the numbing effects of alcohol.
