DESTIN, Fla. -- Even though Texas A&M hasn't finalized the contract for new football coach Jimbo Fisher, athletic director Scott Woodward isn't worried.
On Wednesday during SEC spring meetings, Woodward said the contracts for Fisher and the rest of the assistants he hired for his first staff at A&M should be wrapped up in the immediate future. Back in December, Fisher agreed to a 10-year, $75-million deal that was the richest single contract ever given to a college football coach.
"I'm sure they're all just about done," Woodward said. "If not, it's just a matter of internal procedures and getting the paperwork and the bureaucracy done.
