COLLEGE STATION – Texas A&M baseball, which plays host to South Carolina in a three-game series starting Friday night, is already enjoying a superb season at 41-7 and No. 3 in the nation, and the Aggies received more good news this week.
When Allen High two-sport standout Kyler Murray announced he was foregoing any opportunity to be a part of the Major League Baseball draft from June 8-10. The five-star quarterback intends to be on the A&M campus in time for summer school on June 2.
“That was great news for Texas A&M athletics,” A&M baseball coach Rob Childress said.
