Could Kyle Allen once again be named A&M's starter?
Following the Western Carolina game, where both sophomore Kyle Allen and freshman Kyler Murray saw the field, Texas A&M has decided to once again reopen the starting quarterback competition.
The move is likely a response to the fact Murray, who started the last game against Western Carolina, threw two interceptions against what should have been an overmatched opponent. The week prior against Auburn, Murray threw three interceptions without throwing a touchdown.
“Some have had good moments and some have had some not so good moments,” A&M head coach Kevin Sumlin said Tuesday.
