The first game of the post-Jimbo era saw the return of maroon pants and sleeves as the Aggies beat Abilene Christian 38-10. Though the Aggies did start out behind after an early pick-six, it felt like Texas A&M controlled the game from start to finish against FCS competition. Given the firing of their coach earlier in the week, the early struggles likely didn’t come as a surprise.
Next up for Texas A&M is a road trip to Baton Rouge to take on the LSU Tigers in the final game of the 2023 regular season.
