The SEC on Thursday announced the 2016 football schedules for its schools.
Texas A&M will open the season at home against UCLA on Sept. 3. The Aggies are 2-2 all-time against the Bruins, but have not beaten UCLA since 1951. The schools last met in the 1998 Cotton Bowl, with UCLA winning 29-23.
The Aggies’ other non-conference games will be at home against Prairie View A&M, New Mexico State and Texas-San Antonio. A&M will be facing all of those teams for the first time.
On the home slate, Tennessee will make its first visit to Kyle Field in the teams’ first regular-season meeting.
