One play last season encapsulated the difference Jashaun Corbin can have on Texas A&M's football team.
In the Aggies' 2018 win over Arkansas, Corbin returned the opening kickoff for a 100-yard touchdown. That was the margin between the teams at the end of A&M's 24-17 victory.
After making a moderate impact, Corbin is expected to have an intensified workload during his sophomore season. In 2019, he will likely replace Trayveon Williams as the Aggies' primary running back.
In an interview with A&M's in-house media, Corbin said this offseason has been about preparing for that challenge. Corbin is "getting in the playbook more, making sure I know everything -- protections, routes, runs, what the quarterback is doing, what the o-line is doing.
