COLLEGE STATION -- Given the lull in Texas A&M's schedule, it's easy to consider this week an afterthought.
Last weekend, the Aggies came up short in a 28-26 loss to No. 2 Clemson that served as the textbook example of a "moral victory" for a program in transition. Next week, A&M travels to Tuscaloosa to face No. 1 Alabama, the first road game for new A&M coach Jimbo Fisher.
Sandwiched between those games is this week's contest against Louisiana-Monroe (2-0), an undefeated "group of five" opponent. The Aggies (1-1) are looking to carry momentum through the weekend and into next weekend's SEC opener.
