5 things to know about Texas A&M's Sweet 16 opponent, Michigan

After Texas A&M dismantled 2-seed North Carolina 86-65 in its home state last Sunday in Charlotte, the Aggies advanced to the Sweet 16 for the second time in three years.

Now travelling cross-country to Los Angeles, A&M will face 3rd-seeded Michigan (30-7) Thursday night at the Staples Center.

A&M may be facing the hottest team in the nation Thursday in Los Angeles, as Michigan has rattled off 11-straight wins dating back to Feb. 11.

The Wolverines were feeling the heat on Saturday though against Houston, but freshman guard Jordan Poole drained a three-pointer at the buzzer to give Michigan a 64-63 win over the Cougars -- true March style.
