Texas A&M finally has its new athletic director.
Just over a month since the Aggies lost Scott Woodward to LSU, they poached a different sitting SEC AD to fill their vacancy -- Ole Miss' Ross Bjork.
SportsDay's Ben Baby first reported Bjork's hiring Thursday evening. A&M later officially announced Bjork's hiring late Thursday night.
Here are five things to know about A&M's new athletic director:
1. A young AD on the rise
When Bjork was hired as Western Kentucky's athletic director in 2010, he was the youngest AD in Division I-FBS. It only took two years for him to rise the ranks to a Power 5 program in 2012 after being hired as the AD at Ole Miss.
