3 takeaways from Texas A&M's to Washington: Aggies unable to close game yet again, drop fourth straight

For the second straight game, Texas A&M (1-4) was unable to close down the stretch and fell victim for the fourth straight time, losing 71-67 to Washington Tuesday night in the Vancouver Showcase.

Here are three takeaways from the Aggies' frustrating loss:

1. A&M falters late yet again

Once holding a 13-point lead in the first half, A&M was unable to carry over its momentum into the final 20 minutes.

Washington shot 50.0 percent from the field in the second half after going 23 percent in the first.

The Aggies had multiple chances to tie the game in the final minute, but self-inflicted wounds kept them from potentially sending the game to overtime.
