COLLEGE STATION -- Texas A&M extended its winning streak to five games Saturday afternoon at Reed Arena with a 92-68 win over Marshall.
Here are three takeaways from the Aggies' (6-4) 24-point victory:
1. TJ Starks responds well after being benched
For the first time all season, sophomore guard TJ Starks found himself not in A&M's starting five after he was benched for the final 16 minutes of Wednesday's game against Valparaiso.
Instead of hanging his head though, Starks stepped up, scoring a team-best 17 points, aside forward Christian Mekowulu, off the bench.
He put together a complete game, too, adding four rebounds and four assists in 26 minutes of action.
