Texas A&M (6-7, 0-2 SEC) dropped its third straight game Tuesday night, falling to No. 18 Kentucky on the road, 85-74, at Rupp Arena in Lexington, Kentucky.
Here are three takeaways from the Aggies' 11-point loss:
1. Aggies run out of second-half steam
Despite dropping their third consecutive game, the Aggies showed exceptional fight in the second half, catching back up from a runaway train.
Kentucky appeared to have put its foot on A&M's throat towards the end of the first half, leading by 12 at the break, but the Aggies came out in the final 20 minutes eager to make it a game.
