COLLEGE STATION -- Texas A&M was off for 10 days, and the Aggies came off their long break with a solid 80-59 win over Northwestern State Monday night at Reed Arena.
Here are three takeaways from the Aggies' victory:
1. Aggies stay on track after long break
Ten days was a long break for A&M after playing a slew of early season contests, but the time off didn't hinder the Aggies much Monday night.
A&M held a lead over Northwestern State throughout the entire game.
Things were not pretty at times, however. The Aggies turned the ball over seven times in the final six minutes of the first half, giving it away 15 times on the night.
