COLLEGE STATION -- Texas A&M played some of its best basketball of the season and had a valiant comeback, but the Aggies came out on the losing end of their SEC opener, 73-71, to Arkansas Saturday evening at Reed Arena.
Here are three takeaways from the Aggies' narrow loss to the Razorbacks:
1. Aggies open SEC play with tough loss
A&M opened conference play with a less than desirable result -- a stinging loss to Arkansas.
After holding a 1-point lead with five minutes to go, Arkansas turned on the jets, knocking down five of their final six shots.
