COLLEGE STATION -- Texas A&M had no answers for LSU guard Tremont Waters in the Aggies' 72-57 loss to the No. 19 Tigers Wednesday night at Reed Arena.
With the loss, A&M dropped to 8-11 overall and 1-6 in SEC play, which puts them tied for 12th with Missouri and Georgia.
Here are three takeaways from the Aggies' 15-point home loss:
A&M was neck and neck with LSU through the first 30 minutes of the game, but the Tigers were able to slowly tighten their grip and pull away in the waning minutes.
A shooting slump and errant passes that led to turnovers troubled the Aggies when they needed to play their sharpest ball of the night.
