Texas A&M may not be playing a game this weekend, but they at least picked up a recruiting win with the commitment of Fort Bend Christian Academy center Remington Strickland.
Strickland may be “only” a three-star recruit, but he appears to be a late riser who was recruited by several top programs. On Labor Day, he only had two Power 5 scholarship offers - from Purdue and Arkansas. But he saw that chance quickly as offers rolled in from Michigan, Oklahoma, Virginia Tech, Texas, Baylor and finally the Aggies on Nov.
