The game of baseball is so incredibly cruel sometimes. Freshman lefty Chris Weber carried a no-hitter through 7.1 innings, but he got literally no run support. The offense amassed two hits, with one coming on a Braden Shewmake double on the first pitch of the game. The second came with two outs in the following inning. Despite this, the Aggies loaded the bases in the sixth via two walks and a hit batter, only for Zach DeLoach to ground into an inning-ending 3-2-3 double play. Then in the bottom of the ninth, with two outs and a man aboard, Georgia’s Cam Shepherd hit a 2-2 offering over the left field wall to walk it off.
