COLLEGE STATION -- More than five hours after Texas A&M's marathon game against No. 7 LSU ended, A&M coach Jimbo Fisher was still figuring out what happened.
The No. 22 Aggies outlasted the Tigers in a 74-72 win that lasted seven overtimes, tying the record for the most extra periods in Football Bowl Subdivision history. As the night continued to drag on, it all started to run together in Fisher's mind.
"I lost track of overtimes, I ain't gonna lie," Fisher said during his postgame news conference. "They said seven, I guess, (if) that's what y'all say it was.
