In what could be a major coup for the Texas A&M Aggies' 2016 recruiting class, five-star Shreveport (LA) Calvary Baptist quarterback Shea Patterson has gone from being a maybe for the program's junior day to a "confirmed" visitor for Sunday's event.
Per Brian Perroni of 247Sports, "according to GigEm247 recruiting analyst Taylor Hamm, the 6-foot-2, 195-pound junior said on Saturday morning that he will be in College Station Sunday afternoon."
Patterson is ranked by 247Sports as the 16th best prospect in the Class of 2016, and is currently one of three 2016 quarterbacks to currently hold offers from the Texas A&M Aggies. He played for Hildalgo (TX) High during his freshman season and was a very early Arizona commit, before moving to Louisiana and reopening his recruitment process.
A&M currently trails the likes of LSU, USC, and Ole Miss by most projections, but that could fluctuate wildly with over a year left in Patterson's prep career.
