WTA players unite to help Australian wildfire relief

Now that Australia has been experiencing its worst wildfire season in recorded history, with a human death toll of 24 and an estimated 480 million animals found dead, the WTA players are joining forces to collect considerable amounts of money to the bushfire relief fund. Generally, players have chosen to give a certain amount for each ace they hit during the Australian Swing, but some tennis stars personalized their fundraising efforts.

Australian world No.1 Ashleigh Barty, who first saw the fires in November, while flying from the Fed Cup in Perth back to the east coast of Australia, will donate all of her prize money from the Brisbane International.
