Thursday at the 2017 BNP Paribas WTA Finals Singapore presented by SC Global featured the last batch of the White Group matches. Jelena Ostapenko made sure not to leave Singapore winless, beating qualified semifinalist Karolina Pliskova in a dead rubber 6-3 6-1, while Venus Williams booked her spot in the final four by edging Garbine Muguruza 7-5 6-4 in the second match of the day.
