Caroline Wozniacki is playing the final tournament of her career and her second-round clash with Dayana Yastremska could have very well been her last, but the former world No.1 Dane erased big deficits in two sets to advance to the third round of the Australian Open with a 7-5 7-5 victory.
The 2018 Australian Open champion Wozniacki faced a major threat in the second round, as the 21st-ranked Yastremska is in excellent form, having reached the Adelaide International final this month and having beaten Wozniacki in straight sets in their only previous meeting at the Western & Southern Open in Cincinnati last year.
