Belgium’s Yanina Wickmayer & Poland’s Magda Linette will meet in Sunday’s Japan Women’s Open final in Tokyo, following their successful semi-finals in the Japanese capital today.
Wickmayer clinched her tenth WTA final with a two-set win over Ajla Tomljanovic. The soon-to-be Australian Croat fougth her way into the final, getting past Timea Babos, Kimiko Date-Krumm & Madison Brengle before having to make way for Wickmayer to make the final round.

While Wickmayer won her match in straight sets, Linette had to go the long way against Christina McHale, recovering from a dropped first-set against the American to make her first ever WTA final in the Japanese capital.
