U.S. Open Today: Milos Raonic Falls in Second Round

Ryan Harrison, a one-time top prospect as a teenager, earned the biggest win of his career at age 24 by defeating a hobbled Milos Raonic, 6-7 (4), 7-5, 7-5, 6-1, to reach the third round of the United States Open.

It is the first time Harrison has made it to the third round of a major tournament, and he will play Marcos Baghdatis, who beat No. 32 Benoit Paire, 6-2, 6-4, 3-6, 6-4.

Once ranked as high as No. 43, Harrison fell back in recent years and has not been in the top 100 since January 2014.
