16-year old Amanda Anisimova has won the Juniors competition of the 2017 US Open on Sunday, winning her final Junior Grand Slam appearance before turning to the pro tour on a full-time basis.
Much like the women’s final, the Junior final was an all-American affair as Anisimova played tournament sensation Cori Gauff who made it into the final despite being only 13 years old. The tournament’s doubles competition was won by Chan Yung-Jan & Martina Hingis, with the Swiss legend taking her 25th Grand Slam title overall.
