BOGOTA, Colombia — Bernard Tomic of Australia defeated Frenchman Adrian Mannarino 6-1, 3-6, 6-2 to win the Claro Open for the second consecutive year on Sunday.
The 29th-ranked Tomic broke Mannarino's serve twice in the third set to secure the victory in Colombia and clinch his third career title.
Mannarino, ranked 33rd in the world, was trying to win his first ATP title. He was runner-up in Auckland earlier this year, when he made it to his first career final.
The 22-year-old Tomic was the second seed at the ATP 250 clay-court tournament, behind Ivo Karlovic of Croatia, who was upset by Mannarino in the semifinals on Saturday.
