Our photographer Jimmie48 made it to all seven singles matches that took place at the Porsche Tennis Grand Prix in Stuttgart on Wednesday, on top of attending players’ interviews and the practice session of Angelique Kerber, who kicks off her appearance at the tournament with a match against good friend Andrea Petkovic tomorrow evening on Centre Court.
As I wrote in my detailed report about Wednesday’s matches in Stuttgart, Hsieh-Su Wei, Donna Vekic, Victoria Azarenka, Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova, eighth seed Anett Kontaveit and Belinda Bencic moved into the second round, while third seed Petra Kvitova became the first quarterfinalist in the draw with her straight-set victory over qualifier Greet Minen in the evening.
