Friday at the WTA Finals in Singapore featured the completion of round-robin play and bottom-half doubles quarterfinals. As I’ve already reported, Sloane Stephens and Kiki Bertens won the Red Group and made their way into the semifinals with wins over Angelique Kerber and Naomi Osaka, respectively, while in doubles Timea Babos & Kristina Mladenovic demolished Xu Yifan & Gabriela Dabrowski to reach the semis, alongside Coco Vandeweghe & Ashleigh Barty, the winners over Elise Mertens & Demi Schuurs.
