Serena Williams Headed to 10th Career Wimbledon Final

Serena Williams is headed to her 10th Wimbledon final after defeating Germany's Julia Gorges in two sets on Thursday.

Williams, a seven-time champion, took the first set 6-2 and the second 6-4 on Center Court.

Williams has won 23 grand slams during her career. If she wins Wimbledon, she will tie Australia's Margaret Court for most major titles. Williams won Wimbledon in 2015 and 2016 before missing last year's tournament due to pregnancy.

The women's final will be held Saturday, July 14 at 9 a.m. ET, where Williams will face Germany's Angelique Kerber, who is seeded 11th.
