McLEAN, Va. — Robby Ginepri, a semifinalist at the 2005 U.S. Open, has retired after 14 years on the ATP World Tour.
Ginepri's agency, Octagon, announced his decision Thursday.
The 32-year-old Ginepri's best Grand Slam showing was his run to the final four at Flushing Meadows a decade ago, losing at that stage to Andre Agassi. Ginepri had been the only active American man to reach a Grand Slam semifinal.
Ginepri made it to at least the fourth round at each of the four Grand Slam tournaments and was a member of the U.
