Rafael Nadal’s Wimbledon journey: from 2010 champion to three early exits

Having knocked Andy Murray out in the semi-final in straight sets, he then delivered the same result against Berdych, taking two hours and 13 minutes to win his second Wimbledon title. He was at the height of his game, Wimbledon sandwiching victories at Roland Garros and Flushing Meadows.

Djokovic had lost five previous grand slam meetings to Nadal, but the pace and accuracy of his groundstrokes saw the Serb claim his first Wimbledon title. Nadal had not lost a Grand Slam final that he had contested since 2007, but he was far from his potent best, the third set aside.
